Toronto Enterprise Fund

The Toronto Enterprise Fund is a unique partnership between government, foundations, and United Way Toronto that supports the development of social purpose enterprises working with the homeless and low-income people. The enterprises provide people with employment opportunities, work experience, additional income, improved life skills and better connections to the community and the labour force. As a result, the enterprises are successful in helping to reduce poverty, preventing and reducing homelessness, and building a more inclusive community.

The Program partnership includes Human Resources Development Canada, Ontario Disability Support Program, City of Toronto, United Way Toronto, CEDTAP and Supporting Communities Partnership Initiative (SCPI).

Speakers Bureau

Hearing a personal story gives donors a deeper understanding of where their dollars go, and more inspiration to give generously. In order to join our Speakers Bureau as an Agency Speaker, you must be a staff member, board member, volunteer, or client of a United Way member agency. Ask your agency’s Executive Director about becoming a United Way Agency Speaker.
