Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada kicks off its 2011 fundraising campaign
With this year’s campaign, employees at the Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada are aiming to beat last year’s fundraising total of $13,000 for United Way
Employees at the Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada’s Toronto offices get together to kick off their 2011 fundraising campaign for United Way.
Every year, employees at each of the Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada’s head offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and Halifax come together in a common cause of caring. By holding a fundraising campaign for each of their respective region’s United Ways, employees are hoping to top their grand total of $13,230 last year by holding a fun campaign that sees almost 100% participation from its workforce.
At the Toronto office, employees have been holding a United Way campaign for at least 18 years now, and this year they’re excited to help us meet our fundraising goal of $116-million, which will go toward our Community Fund, helping us serve our over 200 member agencies.
At Toronto’s office, this year’s events will include an early bird draw for a vacation day for those submitting their pledge forms early, casual dress week; online bingo; a bake and book sale; a 50/50 draw; a silent auction of items donated by suppliers, industry colleagues and employees; and a board games lunch.
Thank you to everyone at Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company of Canada for your continued support.
