Chaitons LLP employees come together to exceed last year's fundraising total

A tradition at Chaitons LLP, the United Way Toronto themed cake is a sweet way for employees to get into the giving mood.

Employees at the Toronto-based law firm Chaitons LLP came together in a common cause of caring this year, holding a successful 2011 fundraising campaign. With an impressive 100% participation rate from associates, partners, and students, and a 65% participation rate from support staff, the firm saw a new all-time record of 75% for firm-wide participation.

Chaitons LLP also beat its 2010 total of $42,767 with this year’s amount of $44,346.

Kicking off their workplace fundraising campaign on September 26, 2011, employees showed their excitement and enthusiasm at a packed lunchtime event. Led by experienced Campaign Chair Jennifer Chaiton, this year’s fundraising committee helped arrange a series of fun events and activities to get people in the giving mood.

Along with a strong pledge drive and generous corporate match of funds for United Way Toronto’s Community Fund, Chaitons LLP employees took part in several events such as a spelling bee, bowling night, raffle, and potluck lunch.

Thank you to everyone at Chaitons LLP for our continued support and generosity—we couldn’t do it without you!
