Draw for Top Fundraisers
If you raise $2,500 or more by Friday, November 19 at 5 pm, your name will be automatically entered in a draw to win dinner for two at 360 The Restaurant at the top of the CN Tower.
Top Student Fundraisers
The Top Student fundraiser will win a digital camera. To be eligible for the Top Student fundraising prize, you must be registered for the Saturday Student Climb. Last year’s Top Student Fundraiser was 11-year-old Marcus Tanko who raised close to $700.
Fundraising Prizes
To be eligible for prizes your pledges must be submitted to United Way Toronto no later than Friday, November 19, 2010.
Collect $250 to $499and receive a $25HBC gift card |

$295 provides housing support to five women who have been abused, helping them find new homes and achieve long-term independence. |
Collect $500 to $999and receive a $50HBC gift card |

$800 sends two youth to summer camp for eight weeks of leadership training, helping them build confidence and self-esteem. |
Collect $1,000 to $2,499and receive a $100HBC gift card |

$1,000 provides an after-school program for 10 children for a month, giving them vital support and supervision outside of the classroom. |
Collect $2,500 to $4,999and receive a $250HBC gift card |

$3,000 provides a senior a month at a program that gives support, recreation, socialization and personal care to keep him active and healthy, while providing vital relief for the caregiver. |
Collect $5,000 or moreand receive a $500HBC gift card |
|
$5,000 provides 25 homeless youth who dropped out of school the assistance they need to achieve their high school diploma equivalency in four months, giving them a new start on life. |
Prize Pick Up
Prizes must be picked up in person from the United Way office at 26 Wellington St. East, 2nd Floor, from January 24 to February 11, 2011, between 9 am and 4:30 pm. Team Captains or a designate may pick up prizes for a team. If you wish to pick up prizes for your team, please contact us at unitedwayevents@uwgt.org and allow 24 hours to prepare your package. Prizes will not be distributed outside the dates indicated.
