Your gift accomplishes so much

Your generous contribution supports the social fabric that ties our city together. Here are just a few examples of what your gift can do:

  • $130 provides four counselling sessions for a woman who has been abused to help her rebuild her life.
  • $200 provides a newcomer with eight 1.5 hour sessions of pre-employment training to help him find meaningful employment in his new country.
  • $520 enables two at-risk youth to participate in a 10-week program that addresses aggressive behaviour, teaching them new skills to cope with challenging situations.
  • $1,060 provides a day of shelter, food and support services for 20 homeless people to help them start their transition to independent living.

Change begins with your leadership

When you give at the leadership level of $1,000 or more, you'll be recognized in our Honour Roll. More than that, you'll make an even bigger impact on the lives of many people across our city.

Our Honour Roll has moved online

Honour Roll

United Way Toronto uses a variety of ways to thank our donors and recognize their generous commitment to the community. Historically, as part of its recognition approach, United Way has distributed an annual "Honour Roll" in the Globe and Mail. This year, in an ongoing effort to maximize our commitment to the environment, we are publishing our honour roll online. Please give us your feedback on this publication and our new approach.
