Rouge — Saturday, November 15, 2008

Held in the beautiful Grand Banking Hall of The Suites at 1 King West, Rouge is a masquerade ball for Toronto’s philanthropically-minded young adults. The event is bathed in United Way’s signature colour – red – and sets the mood for this sizzling fundraiser. It’s an evening of live music and DJs, silent auction indulgences, mingling and masks – all to benefit United Way’s Community Fund.

Great Neighbourhood Race — Sunday, July 20, 2008

Inspired by the hit television series, The Amazing Race, the Great Neighbourhood Race pits teams of four against each other in a fun but competitive race to solve clues, complete tasks and search for checkpoints throughout Toronto’s core. All registration fees and pledges raised directly support United Way's Community Fund. Many of the race’s activities provide participants with greater insight on the city we share and how United Way is making a positive impact in the lives of its citizens. The day wraps up with a spirited party where prizes are awarded and teams can celebrate their accomplishments together.
