At a young age, United Way was there for volunteer TJ Adhihetty. Now he gives back as an active member of the GenNext Cabinet.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of United Way.

When it comes to building stronger neighbourhoods and improving lives across Toronto, we couldn’t do it without volunteer support. Our more than 20,000 volunteers are vital to United Way’s operation and play an important part in keeping our fundraising costs one of the lowest in Canada.

We are always looking for people that want to make an impact. You can make a difference while connecting with your community and learning new skills. From individuals to employee teams, one-time support to long-term opportunities–we have many rewarding volunteer opportunities to suit different interests:

Volunteer at United Way Toronto—lend your skills to United Way operations, help our events run smoothly or be a part of our Allocation Review Panel
Workplace voluntarism—build a better community while giving back through your workplace–help run your United Way workplace campaign or lend your skills to the community
